Organizations we support with substantial contributions:
The Anthony Group believes in giving back to the community. Every day, our contributions are at work in institutions of higher education and health-related charities. And every year, three of our principals enthusiastically run in the Nike Women’s Marathon.
• Easter Seals Kaleidoscope – Easter Seals Bay Area creates life changing
solutions so that people with disabilities can have equal opportunity to
live, learn, work, and play in their community. For 25 years, Easter Seals
Bay Area's Kaleidoscope After School Program has been integrating therapy,
training, education, support services and respite components to meet the
needs of youth, ages 5 to 22 with developmental disabilities and their
families.
All parents struggle to balance the demands of their lives with the needs of
their children. For the parents of children with disabilities, the effort
needed to maintain this balancing act is even greater, as they face
additional challenges. Easter Seals Bay Area's Kaleidoscope program has
provided rays of hope for hundreds of families who have fought to overcome
the barriers of disability.
The Kaleidoscope After School Program offers a comprehensive and creative
approach to recreation, education and socialization for youth with
disabilities and at the same time, helps parents maintain employment and
meet the needs of their other children.
Perhaps most importantly, Kaleidoscope participants spend time doing the
same things that other youth do after school, gaining the confidence they
need to successfully interact in typical environments and feel part of the
community.
